Grace Vaughan wins GRAND PRIZE in Wells Fargo Succeeding Together Contest, plays with #1 Rory McIlroy in Pro-Am on 5/13/15

Congratulations Grace Vaughan, named GRAND PRIZE WINNER of the Wells Fargo "Succeeding Together" Essay Contest. Grace's prize package includes a 4 day/3 night trip for 2 to attend the Wells Fargo Championship and sponsored/celebrity events plus the opportunity to play in the Wells Fargo Pro-Am with Rory McIlroy, her long-time idol!  We are so proud of this inspiring young lady -- go Grace!

Maria File selected BMW Big Break

Congratulations Maria File, TFT Eagle participant (The Creek location), one of 12 players selected by the SC Junior Golf Association to compete Wednesday, May 13th starting at 1:30 pm in the BMW "Big Break" skills challenge at the Reserve at Lake Keowee. Juniors will play with a Web.Com Tour Player and a "Wounded Warrior" veteran of US Forces. Congratulations and good luck to Maria, we are proud of your accomplishment!

Summer programming begins the week of June 8th at The Creek (Spartanburg campus), Woodfin Ridge (Boiling Springs/Inman campus), and Cherokee National (Gaffney campus). Outback Golf Classic of Spartanburg

The 3rd Annual Outback Golf Classic will be held on Tuesday, April 28th at Carolina Country Club. The event is sponsored by Kiwanis of Spartanburg and Outback Steakhouse to support three local charities serving over 26,000 youth annually -- The First Tee of Spartanburg & Cherokee Counties, Healthy Smiles of Spartanburg, and the Hope Center for Children.

2nd Annual Life Skills & Golf Skills Team Challenge (2014)

On Friday, September 26, 2014 fourth graders from 33 First Tee partnering schools applied The First Tee Life Skills & Golf Skills learned in school at The First Tee of Spartanburg Course at The Creek Golf Club. The event is presented by PwC Charitable Foundation Inc. and sponsored by Phifer Johnson Foundation. Lunch is provided by Bojangles with product support by Coca-Cola of Spartanburg and Diversified Pool Products.

11th Annual Cyder Cup Matches (2014)

The 11th annual Cyder Cup Matches (October 18-19) pit the top amateur golfers from Spartanburg against the top amateur golfers from Greenville to raise awareness and funds to support local programming for The First Tee.
