Hootie & the Blowfish Chapter Tournament Series

New for 2013, Spartanburg Chapter events are now powered by BlueGolf.


The Spartanburg Chapter of the SCJGA will now be registering online through Bluegolf. With this new system, it will enable the chapters to give you better service and will make scoring and statistics easier to follow.

Now Recruiting Volunteer Coaches

Volunteer Coaches help students improve their game and serve as role models, mentors, and friends. The First Tee of Spartanburg has two programming locations (The Creek and Woodfin Ridge Golf Clubs) for area youth ages 5 and up. Got time, get trained -- 2013 Coach Volunteer Training will be held March 28th at 5:30 p.m. at TFTS Learning Center at The Creek Golf Club. For $600, your company can sponsor one of six holes on The First Tee golf course. Granite tee signage bearing your corporate ID will serve as a lasting reminder of your support of The First Tee youth development mission. 10th Annual Cyder Cup Matches

The 10th annual Cyder Cup Matches (October 26-27) pit the top amateur golfers from Spartanburg against the top amateur golfers from Greenville to raise awareness and funds to support local programming for The First Tee. The First Tee National School Program

The First Tee of Spartanburg is proud to partner with Spartanburg School Districts 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 in bringing core values and healthy habits to over 10,000 students annually. The First Tee National School Program teaches golf and life skills as a part of student PE instruction during school hours. Join sponsors BB&T, Brett Berry, Chapman Elementary PTO, Dan Dunn (NAI Earle Furman), Exopack, Inman Mills, JM Smith Corporation, Mary Black Foundation, Mt.
